Interdisciplinary Perspectives on the Bioeconomy #1

The Global Bioeconomy Alliance is pleased to announce that it will be hosting the first webinar in the new series on “Interdisciplinary Perspectives on the Bioeconomy“. This follows on from the Alliance’s ongoing efforts to foster international dialogue and collaboration on sustainable and inclusive bioeconomy development.
The first webinar will take place on June 23 at 13:00 CET (find your local time here)
It will open with a welcome address by Cristina Chuck (Tecnológico de Monterrey), followed by expert contributions from leading researchers across three continents.
As countries and regions worldwide seek pathways towards a bioeconomy that addresses climate change, biodiversity loss, and social inequalities, interdisciplinary perspectives are essential. This webinar brings together insights from marine science, agricultural systems, and social and environmental justice to explore how scientific innovation can translate into real‑world impact.
