Santiago, Chile – Universidad Andrés Bello (UNAB), one of Chile’s leading private universities, has joined the Global Bioeconomy Alliance (GBA), reinforcing its commitment to international collaboration, research excellence, and sustainable innovation.
Founded in 1988 and named after the renowned Chilean-Venezuelan intellectual Andrés Bello, UNAB has grown into one of Chile’s largest and most comprehensive universities. Today, the university operates across three main sites and multiple campuses in Santiago, Viña del Mar, and Concepción, offering a broad range of academic programs through its twelve faculties including Life Sciences, Engineering, Exact Sciences, Medicine, Architecture, Business and Economics, and Rehabilitation Sciences
